The Unseen Meadowlands

The New Jersey Meadowlands are often ignored by people speeding by in their car or train. I am intrigued by this area with its mash-up of nature and industry.

The marshes, rolling hills, migratory birds, interrupted by trains, bridges and roads. Even the debris, eroded by the wind and water, blends into the patina of the landscape. With the right light I hoped I revealed its beauty.
